Planit is based in Castlemaine, Central Victoria,  Australia.  The majority of Planit projects are in regional Victoria and at the fringe of metropolitan Melbourne.

Planit is committed to implementation of projects.  Planit works at all stages in the planning process.  Planit is often engaged to not only prepare strategic plans and studies but also to implement these studies and plans by amendment to municipal planning schemes.

Planit is a multi-disciplinary consultancy.  Projects are often of a collaborative nature with Planit performing the management role with project teams comprising professionals from other fields including vegetation assessment and management, land capability assessments, bushfire planning and management, natural resource management, transport and traffic planning, engineering design, landscape architecture, heritage, architecture and building design and community consultation and facilitation.
