A longer term growth management strategy for the Mount Alexander Shire situated in the Melbourne to Bendigo regional transport corridor. The Strategy is in 2 volumes; a an urban living strategy for the Shire and structure plans for the main towns and settlements. |
Hepburn Strategic Framework Plans, Hepburn Planning Scheme Review, 2011-12: Implemented by Planning Scheme Amendment C56 (current). Preparation of four strategic framework plans for the Shire (Hepburn strategic framework and Economic development, Settlement and Environment and landscape framework plans). Strategic plans prepared as part of the review and re-write of the Hepburn Municipal Strategic Statement. |
Mullattivu Coastal Settlement Strategy (Draft) 2012. David Robb engaged under the Planning Institute of Australia’s Regional Planning in Sri Lanka project to work with National Physical Planning Department of Sri Lanka. The Strategy document identifies and makes proposals for new urban development and tourism development opportunities along a 50 km coastal region in the northeast of Sri Lanka. |
Embilipitiya Development Plan 2009: David Robb engaged under the Planning Institute of Australia’s Post Tsunami Reconstruction and Planning Support project to work with National Physical Planning Department of Sri Lanka. Project involved the preparation of a comprehensive land use strategy for a growing third order city in the southern province of Sri Lanka. |
Castlemaine Land Use Plan and Castlemaine Residential Strategy, Mount Alexander Shire Council 2003-04: The Land Use Plan and the Residential Strategy provide a longer term urban development framework for Castlemaine. Both studies provided strategic justification for subsequent rezonings and were implemented by their inclusion in the Planning Scheme as reference documents. Implemented by Amendment C25 |
Swan Hill Central Business District Business Zoning Review 2005 for Swan Hill Rural City Council.The Review Study by sets new strategic land use directions for business development in Swan Hill and identifies land use and development opportunities within existing business zones and proposes some extension of existing business zoned areas.Implemented by Planning Scheme Amendment C21. |
